Skerries RNLI crew put their inshore lifeboat 'Rockabill' through her paces during some rough weather training in the bay in April 2012.
VIDEO: 11/08/2012: Skerries assist yacht fouled on lobster pots
At 12:55 on Saturday 11th August 2012 ,Skerries RNLI launched to reports of a yacht drifting on to rocks in the vicinity of skerries islands.The lifeboat quickly located a 26ft yacht with 2 persons on board and learned that their propellor had been fouled. The yacht was taken under tow by the lifeboat and brought safely to Skerries harbour.
